First Post

Hey guys,

I wanted to create this blog for keeping track of all the new things going on in our family. Some of you know, and many do not, that we have been discussing adopting children. I've wanted more children for as long as I can remember, and adoption was always an option for me. We have only recently come into a situation that we both feel comfortable with the idea and are ready to pursue it. We feel that God is taking us in this direction, and so we trust Him that everything will work out according to His will. My daughter and son are in agreement with us too. We ask that our family and friends pray for us as we travel the path of adding new members to our family.

On a much less serious note, we'll have new tiny members of the family any day now. We found a very pregnant cat in our garage about 10 days ago, so of course we adopted her, named her Pepper, and moved her into the house. I'll try to post some pictures of the kittens when they are born. If anyone would like to adopt a kitty 7 or 8 weeks from now, please let me know!
